Ofelia (Rabaca) – I am Ofelia Breedon (Rabaca) blessed with 1 daughter and a loving husband. I studied food technology in the Philippines for a year and worked in Hongkong which gave me the opportunity to learn to cook some aspects of Chinese cuisine. When I immigrated to Canada, I applied for the Food Handling Certificate and worked in Subway. I have also worked in the Deli department at Safeway and currently I am enjoying looking at the satisfied and happy faces of the kids as they enjoy eating the meals I’ve prepared as their cook in Cathedral Area Cooperative Daycare.
Hariny – Hi there! I’m Hariny, a third year student at the University of Regina. I’m taking bachelors of Kinesiology and upon completion of the degree, I expect to work with athletes as an athletic therapist to treat and prevent athletic injuries. I was born and brought up in India but I would very much like to be a Canadian someday and I’m looking forward to that day! An interesting thing about me is that I love to draw anime and I do it pretty much most of the time. I work with the “Grizzly bears” group and I love spending time with the kids. There’s actually a lot of stuff that I have learned from these kids and I’m genuinely happy to meet and get to know the kids.
Jamie – Hi! My name is Jamie, I was born in Moose Jaw, SK… but I have spent my life moving back and forth between Canada and Hong Kong. A few things I could tell you about me are I love my family, music, and I have a passion for working with young children. My professional history in Early Childhood Education began with the position of an English Teacher at a large school overseas in Hong Kong. There I got to work with young children, ages 3 to 6 and ages 14 to 15, following curriculums and developing action plans. I then moved back to Canada to further my education by attaining my ECE, level 3 diploma. I discovered I really enjoy working with children who have special needs as well and I have further specialized in working one-on-one with children who are on the Autism spectrum. I have worked much with preschoolers and schoolers in various forms of education over the years and had a lot of fun doing it! I am working with the Panda Bears/preschoolers at Cathedral Coop Daycare now and I am excited to see what happens with us in the future!
Disha – Hello! My name is Disha. I am the educator for the Pre-K and Kindergarten groups “Honey Bears and Grizzly Bears”. I hold bachelor of engineering degree from India as well as Early Childhood Education level 1 certification from Saskatchewan Polytechnic, Canada. I have 7 years of experience working with children. I have decided to make early learning my life’s work because I believe a child’s education is the most valuable thing in the world, and I will make sure that each child receives the best care and love with education that they all deserve. I am very proud of my little ones every day and I am very happy to be their teacher and to be given the opportunity to watch them grow.

Hannah – Hello everyone! My name is Hannah and I’m originally from Swift Current, SK. I have always loved traveling so after graduating high school, I moved to New Zealand for a year. After that, I traveled to many other places such as Australia and Mexico; the former for employment and the latter for enjoyment. Each of these experiences will be forever treasured and I can’t wait for my next trip! I have been employed in the childcare industry for almost ten years. Throughout that time, I have worked a myriad of jobs including a nanny, camp counsellor, Sunday school teacher, and daycare operations manager. I am now working as a B& A Program Leader and I’m very excited for this next chapter. I can’t wait to get to know you and your children.
Amber – Hello Everyone! My name is Amber and I grew up in Swift Current, SK. I moved to Regina in 2018 in order to pursue a Bachelors of Elementary Education from the University of Regina. Currently, I am in my third year and loving it! Over the past decade, I have held a number of positions within the childcare industry, such as babysitter, nanny, camp counsellor, early childhood educator, and assistant museum education coordinator. When I am not working or in school, I can typically be found doing something that involves music (playing it or listening to it), chilling with a good book, or spending time with friends and family. I have always had a passion for education and believe that one should strive to be a life-long learner. As I begin this new adventure as a B&A Program Leader, I am so excited to learn from and with you all!
